5 Months since I posted (I'm getting better!)

    The reason for this update is because of a call I received  from Candace early this morning. She and Jeremy had to take Kayee to the hospital during the night. She was admitted and  I would like to personally request your prayers for her speedy recovery. She is in the hospital right now for pneumonia and is very sick. Your prayers will be appreciated!

    Since I'm here... I would like to announce the opening of Gain25k.com  Mikey (my 15 year old son) and I bought this domain sometime back for internet marketing. I was busy on our other sites so Mikey took this one over and has done a wonderful job.  There are games.. help for myspace.com and much more. I will be adding a lot of my free and low cost personalized artwork to the myspace layouts area in the near future. He's just getting it going (it's been up for about 2 months) and there are some bugs to work out but he's making a healthy paycheck on it every month. He also used the site as a science project that made it to regionals this year. He wanted to show how to get traffic to his site and what advertising techniques to use to benefit your site the most!. That's one reason I didn't advertise this for him  before now.. I didn't want to bring a false reading.  He didn't make it to state but there is always next year!! GO MIKEY GO!!!

     I would also like to announce another work in progress.. I have been hired by LadyInterupted (her real name kept private to protect the innocent LoL) to do the artwork for her MyLeague Spades Tournaments. For now it is just a sub-domain on my site.. you can visit HERE Perhaps you would like to join her league to play spades online. We meet people from all over the world! EMAIL me for the link to the league.

     One more thing before I begin with the news from the past five months.. I have a little Easter Bunny, her name is Kaylee! I love her soo soo much! You can see her HERE. And HERE she is with her Mommy and Daddy. (Candace and Jeremy)

     Oh and ONE more thing.. I am working on a new layout for this site. I know this one is getting boring.. I promise I will upload it as soon as I get it all figured out.

     Here we go....In early November Shelly (my sister) and the girls came up here. Shelly stayed with ME of course and the girls stayed with their friends in Linton. Shelly and I shopped...went to play Bingo and had a few drinks at my favorite little pub.  The first night Ralph came with us. It was nice having him there.. he hardly ever goes with me to go play Bingo. The second night Shelly and I went alone! We kinda got in a little trouble with the pub patrons and the bartender though. We were playing our kind of music on the juke box.. wellll all of the sudden it stopped playing. Of course we headed straight up to the bar to find out why? The bartender handed us 5.00 and said "Here I will pay for the music but please don't play anymore rock!" hahaaaaaa They don't take kindly to classic rock in that pub I guess!  We played Elvis.. Patsy Kline.. blah blah.. good music but not my style ya know?   Oh I have to show you something adorable.. Since a lot of you are not members on my myspace you may not have seen this.       In late November I made a trip to Houston again. I'm getting good at that drive. I can almost do it with my eyes closed now! I waited until after Thanksgiving and then I headed down there. I took an extra turkey that I had with me to cook for Candace and Jeremy. They had gone to family to eat and wanted a meal of their own so that they could have the best part of Thanksgiving Dinner. LEFTOVERS!! LoL Kaylee is getting so big. I got to spend a lot of time with her during my 2 week stay. Jeremy and I got a long real well this time too. I think he misses his mom! Either that or he's finally growing out of his "rebel" stage. I enjoyed the time I had with him when he wasn't working. Candace and I have gotten along good since the beginning. She is such a sweetheart. I love her like my own daughter! We shopped, went out to eat, shopped.. met Jeremy for lunch a few times... shopped. Oh did I tell you we shopped? haha Shortly after I left Kaylee got an Baby Bunny HERE she is with it. Not to long after she got the bunny the damn thing bit the top of her finger off HERE she is with her bo-bo

     I have a funny little story to tell you. Candace and I went to Baybrook Mall. She wanted to have her hair done so Kaylee and I went shopping. I took her to go look at Santa.. we sat in the lounging area and people watched.. then I remembered my mom requested some earrings so we walked down to Claire's Boutique. I looked and looked and didn't find anything I thought she would like. I decided that we would walk down to the food court and get some fries to share. Welllll that's when things got funny. I sat down with the fries, turned the stroller around and pulled back the hood.. here Kaylee was sitting there playing with a bracelet and necklace from Claire's!! I ABOUT DIED! My first reaction was to look behind me to see if mall security was there! Needless to say we had to go back to Claire's to return the stolen items! That little shit picks up EVERYTHING!  I will remember that next time we go to the mall.

     I spent some time with Ralphie while I was home too. He was getting ready to go to California for an 18 month job there. Fortunately I was in Houston the same time as him. I don't get to spend much time with him at all.. even when I lived there. He's always out of town! He called me one day and told me that he was taking me to eat somewhere. I asked where? He said never mind just get ready to go We ended up at Little Tokyo. I tried sushi for the first time and TRUST ME.. I WILL NEVER EAT IT AGAIN! I called the waiter back over and ordered Orange Chicken to replace the sushi!  It didn't go to waste though.. Ralphie ate it! He can sure put some food away, I have no clue where he puts it all cuz he stays so slender!! He is such a blast to spend time with.. I swear I always end up in tears when I am with him from laughing so hard! Man I miss my boys!! I can't wait to go back in June.

Christmas was white.. that's all I have to say about December! LoL I missed being in Houston because my other boys are there! And I especially hated spending Kaylee's first Christmas way up here!

     January started out with a bang! Literally!!!! One Sunday we went to Flasher to an auction.. it was icy when  I stepped out of the car. The door was locked so we proceeded to walk down the sidewalk to get to the front of the building. I had to walk down what I think was a wheelchair ramp and my feet came up from under me.. all I remember was the sound of back of my head cracking against the cement! I got up and felt ok but boy o boy was I sore the next day. I walked like Fred Sanford for 2 weeks. I did something to my left hip, both thumbs and my lower back. I'm ok now but it was rough walking up and down these stairs here for a long time.

     Let's see.. what else? Oh.. we started investing in pottery, old toys and just about anything that is worth money. We take it to the Community Center every month for the antique show. We have done pretty good buying and selling. It's also fun for our whole family.. Mikey is really into buying and selling.. a GREAT salesman. Ralph started investing in gold and silver in 1998 and it has been very profitable for us this year with the rise in gold and silver prices! Pottery is making us a lot of money too especially North Dakota pottery. We have doubled our collection since these pictures and I lost the pics from last month because of a reformat. So these are all I have HERE from January.

     Alley, our pug is doing fine.. she has learned a lot of tricks. She loves to dance, fetch, shake and her newest trick is to beg.. BUT she doesn't do it like the normal dog looky HERE

     Well not much to say about February and March.. except that it is getting nicer out. I love being outside and I can't wait for it to warm up a little more.  I have the whole summer planned so if you don't see an update until fall.. I'm ok.. I will be enjoying life to it's fullest in this beautiful North Dakota spring and summer weather! Take care all!  xoxox

P.S. Jeremy Jr. is due in May.. I am going to Houston in June and then bringing Candace and the kiddos back with me for a few weeks. I will put out pics of the baby as soon as I can!
