A Fresh Start!
I have decided to start fresh, this page scrolled FOREVER and there were a lot of things I didn't want to be reminded of every time I have to come to my main page for something. There is access to the previous postings at the bottom of this page.
Speaking of not wanting to be reminded of things...I would like to tell the people that thought I was "just a little sick in the head"... the past 5 weeks or so.....that I'm now OVER IT! I'm not going to mention anything other than that. The people that know me well enough KNOW what I'm talking about! hehe
Candace is coming home Sunday!! I will finally get to hug her for the first time since becoming my daughter in law Wedding Movie Here I am really excited...I need some adult company, I love Mikey to death but sheesh when you are around a 13 year old without any adult conversation as many hours a day as I am it makes you start thinking like one. The other day I was so bored that I sat down to watch TV and found myself watching cartoons.. when I realized what I was doing I got up.... walked outside to water the garden and found myself thinking about what kind of pranks I could pull on the neighbors across the street that piss me off all of the time! I really need to pull myself together here...maybe Candace will be a good influence on me once she gets back. Wait.. she's only 18... I will probably end up "clubbin" next week! haha
Well, Mikey and I have been making plans for our summer vacations. There is less than 3 weeks left before school lets out and we really don't have any concrete plans. We know for sure that we want to go back to Vegas. We went 2 years ago but our time was limited to 3 days so there is a lot that we missed.
I personally would love to go back to Sturgis this year too. I had a blast during Rally Week last year! The only thing about that is that we have been there so many times that there's not much that we haven't seen 20 times already so the Rally is about the only thing we would go for and things get a little to crazy around there for a 13 year old. If they would get Crazy Horse Mountain done, that would be worth going to see but they really haven't made any headway that I have noticed on the past 8 years! Memphis (Graceland) is an option as well. Being the HUGE Elvis fan that Mikey is.. that would be something he would really enjoy! We will have to see. Where ever we might end up this summer you can be assured I will bring back lots of pictures for yall!
I am really dreading the Texas heat this summer. If I would have had my way we wouldn't be living here. Last summer it was my dream to be living in South Dakota by now. Maybe I will get my way by next June! It's going to be extra hard this summer because of the addition we added to the kitchen isn't piped for A/C yet... It's going to be miserable cooking for the next several months unless I can get my guys back home to finish up what they started! Looks like they will be gone thru most of the summer! For now I will just crank up the air conditioning and make sure my electric bill is paid on time every month!
Well, I guess I will close this posting, there isn't really much more news... except that I have been super busy with my web design business. My name is really getting out there and I have a lot of new clients. Sometimes I am more busy than I want to be.
